Over the summer of 2025 a group of friends and myself traveled into norther Michigan for Blissfest, a yearly festival that encapsulates everything about Michigan and norther culture with music, art, and community. I documented my experiences on this trip and shared my final production with my friends as a time capsule of our adventures.
In November of 2025 peers from our award winning newspaper and yearbook, The Huron Emery and the Huron Enthymion, traveled to Nashville for a national journalism conference. As seniors in high school the trip, even though structured, gave us freedom to explore new cultures and connect with people from all over the country. Here is my captured moments that tell the story of our experiences in Nashville.
On a random summer Tuesday in 2025 while walking around Downtown Ann Arbor my friend Isaac and I stumbled upon a group a skateboarders that I felt encapsulated the laid back and relaxed feelings of the day. Even though we didn't know any of them personally they were happy to be a part of our day and let me capture some fun moments.
Practicing my videography skills in capturing and editing I focused on my sister Marin Turner hitting some golf balls and warming up for the spring season of 2025. I wanted this project to feel centered around her so I used radial blur effects around her head and made quick cuts back to her focusing on detials.
